There are exciting times ahead at Beyond Limits Dumfries & Galloway and we are looking for someone with that star quality to support us especially during holidays and sick leave although as things develop there could the opportunity for more regular hours if you wished.

Working with Beyond Limits Dumfries & Galloway is a job like no other.  Every day will be different.  You would be supporting people to live the life they enjoy including trips to the cinema, football, eating out, swimming, cooking, walking etc.  You could also be helping people with every day living skills such as household chores, paying bills, attending appointments.  There are always new things to learn and look forward to.  You will get to know the people you support and their families well.  This is a rewarding role as you will see the people you support grow and develop their interests, confidence, independence skills and community involvement.

We have a good, robust induction programme followed by shadow shifts and as much support as you need to get you up and running.  For this reason, we don’t mind if you’ve had no previous experience working in the Care Sector.    Be prepared for lots of training at induction stage which is essential for working within the Care Sector.  Investing in Staff training is a top priority for Beyond Limits Dumfries & Galloway so we pay our Staff for all of their training time.

Ideally you will:

  • Be able to be encouraging and motivated

  • Have basic computer skills but support will be given from the office for as long as you need.

  • Have a flexible approach to your work

 

 

A PVG Check will be requested if you are offered a position with Beyond Limits Dumfries and Galloway, the cost of which will be paid from your first wage. However, this will be refunded to you on successful completion of your six-months probation period.
